Sister Larson in Taipei

Well this is it. I hit my 9 month mark on my mission  on Saturday . I am over the hill and have 9 months left to baptize everyone in northern Taiwan and master the Chinese language (lololololol).  But seriously, time has flown by way too fast! I officially started my 6th transfer on island last week, and Sister Tu and I get to stay together in Yilan for another transfer!!! It's going to such a great transfer, I am SO pumped. This last week was really good! We got some super cool new investigators! We got to meet our investigators Lin Jiemei's parents this last week and they became our investigators! Turns out they actually lived by the missionaries in PengHu (a Taiwanese island just off the west coast of Taiwan in the Taizhong mission) and were really good friends with them there! But then the missionaries moved and they moved too so they lost contact with them. But now we get to meet with them and continue to share about Jesus Christ! I'm so excited to see what happe...

( Gong xi fa cai is a Chinese New Year greeting.  It basically means "hope you get rich this year") Hello! Wow this week was so great!! It was Chinese New Year and so it has been a little bit different haha. Everyone is on vacation and busy so no one wants to meet with us, but the good news is that members have been feeding us lunch and dinner everyday since last Tuesday! So this week we have mostly just been chilling with members. We have also been asked to super deep clean our apartment, so when we are not with members or having a lesson (we were lucky enough to get a few), we are at home cleaning! It's actually been super fun. Our apartment smells like bleach though because there is mold EVERYWHERE. So much mold. We bought a dehumidifier for our apartment. (letter from LAST week that she forgot to send) First off quick apology to my Mom about the following. I'm safe, and everything is good. BUT there have been so many earthquakes lately!! There was one  on Sunday  morning (at like  3:30 ). I was asleep and for some reason my bed just kinda started to shake pretty bad and i was really confused... and then I realized it was an earthquake haha. And then last night there was a 5.8 magnitude on the east coast, and apparently it shook things up pretty bad. We were riding the bus back from Taipei so what we felt we probably just thought was us going over bumps in the road, but the Elders said they're apartment was shaking like crazy. There were also 3 more smaller ones in the last 2 weeks too. So. Lets hope the earthquakes are just about done. it's a weird feeling having everything just kind start to shake around you haha. 嘿朋友s (hey friends) This week was so. good. Well, being a missionary, every week is so good haha. We were pretty busy running around to appointments, attempting to stay dry in the rain (and not succeeding), and trying to talk to everyone! It's hard to believe I've been in Yilan for 3 weeks already, time flies in the mission field. I hit my 6 month mark on island last week. What. Next month I will halfway done with my mission. I feel like I just started!!  Here are some super cool things that happened this week:  Our good friend Zhuang JieMei wanted to move her baptism date up, so she is getting baptized  next Saturday ! It's been so awesome for me to be able to see her progress in the gospel. She is one of the more prepared people I've ever taught. Her son Dan Dan (蛋蛋) also loves learning about Jesus too. He's only 6, but he LOVES telling everybody about his Heavenly Father who loves him and who he can call anytime he wants to through prayer. He's even being...
