Sister Larson in Taipei

Nihao! Wow so many wonderful things this week! The work here is so amazing. Aside from the fact that it still is super duper incredibly hot, I love the work! We found some really awesome people this week because we have been using the Book of Mormon in contacting. It's wonderful! Literally the best book in the world. It can be used in every situation, applies to everyone, and it is so powerful! I love the Book of Mormon! Sister Kwan and I got the best bing in the whole world! Bing is shaved ice but like you put weird fruit or bean things on it. Then they put on sweet syrup and condensed milk. We eat it for dinner once or twice a week. (also it's super cheap. #blessup) While eating bing, the power went out! We just kind of shrugged our shoulders and kept eating bing in the dark haha. Apparently there was a huge power outage over all of Taiwan? At least in Taipei there was. Like all the street lights were out and also a lot of the stoplights too. But it all worke...

Nihao! It is so hot here. I love Taiwan, but I don't think I have ever been so hot and sweaty in my whole life. It was 38.5 degrees Celsius like all week. So whatever that is in Fahrenheit, plus also 2000% percent humidity, that's what it's like. But seriously it's awesome.  They have really good ice cream here. it is passion fruit, peach, mango flavor and I bought it for 25 kuai which is like 75ish cents. This week we had a big conference and talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon. Read it everyday! It will literally change your life. It has changed mine. If you don't have a copy, you can get a free copy so many places. It is my favorite book and I want everyone to read it!  We took like so much time to get to an area to meet with an investigator who didn't show up. Nihao! This week was such a great week! Sister Kwan and I saw so many miracles, it was amazing! Everyday I feel like I understand missionary work more and more, so it gets better. It is so much fun, and I absolutely love it here in Taipei. Me and my comp eating dinner at Subway (yay for sandwiches and not really weird Taiwanese food) We had a baptism this week! Her name is Cindy and she's so awesome. She is a nurse who takes care of old people and people with mental illnesses. It's really hard and she gets spit and hit a lot, but she is so cute and has such a good attitude about everything. I am so excited for her as she begins this journey in the gospel.  At Cindy's baptism!
