Chapter 21: Let me tell you all a story...

Ni hao!!

Okay let me tell you all a little story about my favorite person in the world Liang Jie Mei. Wow she's great. We met her in like the middle of August when we were English finding. We didn't even walk up to her, she walked up to us and was very interested in learning English. She was a little crazy and talked really fast, so we just wrote down our number, gave her and English tract and kind of forgot about her. Then the next day we get a call and it's her and she wants us to come over and teach her English because she won't be able to come to English class this week. So we tell her that we are going to share a message with her about Jesus Christ as well as teach her English and that was that. The first day we went over there we taught English and shared about the Book of Mormon, and she was willing to learn more! So we started going over to her house several times a week and she liked what we were teaching her, but there wasn't any super big change going on. Then after meeting with her for about a month, she had a dream that God was telling her she needed to start kneeling and praying every morning and every night. So she did, and then after that, her progress skyrocketed. One of the greatest moments on my mission was one night when I was on the phone with her and I asked her if she prayed about the Book of Mormon and if she believed it was true. She immediately said "XiangXin!" (believe). It was so wonderful!! And now guess what. LIANG JIE MEI IS GETTING BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY. I am so excited for her! She has so much faith and just believes everything and prays about it too. She's the first person that I've taught from start to finish on the mission, and it's just so amazing to see how much she has changed. She's so happy all the time now! This gospel really changes people. I love Liang Jie Mei! I love this gospel!!

In other news, training ends this week! Which means that I will be getting a new companion and have to lead the area, which is a little bit scary, but I am so excited for what this next transfer will bring!

I hope you all have a great week! If any of you live near Meridian, Idaho (basically, if you are closer than I am, you live near Meridian) you should go check out the Meridian temple open house! It's huge and beautiful (so I've heard) and like 15 minutes away from my house! I'm sure my parents would love to have you come stay with them so you can go see the temple! (love you mom and dad ❤)

Hello! Happy Thanksgiving! This week was so great! We had so much fun this week, ahh it was just so so awesome! This week, we spent a little time preparing a play about the background of Thanksgiving for our ward party on Saturday. Let's just say, it was the funniest thing ever and I would send it to y'all except for the fact that it's in Chinese and most of you wouldn't understand it. But it was actually hilarious and honestly one of the most funny things I've ever participated in. The ward LOVED it and they quoted it all the time at church the next day hahaha. We also got to participate in a super sick aboriginal dance with members of the Beinan tribe. It was sooooo sick and some of the Elders in our district got to wear traditional Taiwanese clothing to dance in. haha I was a little jealous, but it's fine I'm over it.  We had a great thanksgiving too! Chapter 80: I'll be home for Christmas

"You can count on me" hahahaha 大家好 This week was great! We went caroling at Carrefour like last year and it was so much fun.  I don't really know what to say for this week. I just cant believe it's over! Crazy. My mission has been great, it's been hard, its been happy, its been sad. But most importantly, it's been the most amazing experience of my life. Chapters 66 and 67: When the going gets tough, the tough get going AND I become famous X3

Happy September!!  Lol I'm so dead I can't believe it's already September. I think I say that every month. Haha. This week was definitely one of those growing weeks as a missionary. Our friends have like literally all disappeared or texted us saying they don't want to meet with us anymore. Like. Literally all of them. Except for this one really cute family (they are really cool). It's been pretty hard for me and Sister Cajilig because we've been working so hard and having great, spiritual lessons, but then these people just disappear. All at the same time. It's been of one of those "Do I falter or do I finish?" kind of weeks. And we decided to finish! So we are going to go ham this week on the street contacting and finding, it's going to be great! In other news, we've recently been working with this really old man in our ward named Brother Chen. He's 94 and was baptized probs over 50 years ago and has been inactive ever since. We...
