Sister Larson in Taipei

Nihao! Wow this week was long, but it also went by so fast! So many super awesome things happened this week! First thing: We got to go to the temple to do baptisms with Liang JieMei. It was such a cool experience, and she loved it! I am so blessed to be in an area 20 minutes (or an hour with Liang JieMei, lol she has a limp so it takes her a long time to get places. It just makes me love her that much more!) away from the temple! It's such a beautiful place. The Taipei temple is one of the smallest temples in the world, but it's still a house of the Lord and still has the same Spirit. Liang JieMei said that she felt so good and so clean after she went to the temple, and that she slept really well that night. Basically, I love the temple and I love Liang JieMei  Second thing: Yesterday we had such a cool miracle! Nihao! Ah this week we got smartphones. It was crazy. It's so awesome. We get to use Line now, which is basically a messaging app that everyone here uses, so now we have a lot more access to our investigators! And they text us back a lot more lol. Also new smartphones means easier ways to access pictures! #blessup. So I will start taking a lot more pictures, v sorry.  This week we were able to make some progress with several of our investigators! We got our friend Iris on a date for December, and she was able to come to church yesterday, which was so awesome! She is kind of shy, but she likes reading the Book of Mormon and she prays everyday. She was actually a referral from the TuCheng Elders, it's so amazing how the Lord's work happens.  I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 你好!  Wow it's already November?! Where has all the time gone? I can't believe  in 2 weeks  I will hit my 6 month mark on my mission and my 4 month mark on island! Missionary work is the best, but it goes by too fast!  This week was so great, we were able to get a lot of new investigators! We also invited our friend Wendy to baptism, and she accepted a date for December, it was so awesome. We met Wendy 3 weeks ago on the street outside a super fancy mall in our area. Her mom started talking to us first, but because she was already Christian she didn't really want to hear anything from us. So we kind of ignored the mom and just started talking to Wendy haha. She was super interested in hearing about Jesus Christ and she actually grabbed the Book of Mormon from us. She's 22 and reminds me a lot of my older sister, so it's super fun getting to share with her about Jesus Christ! I'm so excited for what's in store for her! Another cool story from this...

Nihao! We got super great news from our mission president last Monday night. Our mission is 1 of 9 international missions approved to get smartphones! So in like 2 weeks we will be getting smartphones to share the gospel! It's going to be so cool, and the work is going to progress even more!  On Sunday, I was sitting by my recent convert, Melody, and I was just so grateful for this opportunity to do the Lord's work. I can see how much Melody's life has been changed through this gospel. And it's not because of me that she has changed, it's because of Jesus Christ. There is honestly no other feeling like knowing someone you love has come unto Christ and made changes in their life to be closer to Him. It's just the best, and missions are literally the best. Nihao!!! Hello, this week has been a week of miracles! Oops except for every week is a week of miracles. I love serving a mission! It's been cooling off a little bit, meaning that it's like in the 70's lol. Sometimes I think a jacket would be nice, but then I remember I would probably get sweaty wearing a jacket. Also apparently Halloween is coming up soon, I can't believe on Wednesday it will be November! I kind of forget about holidays here because they don't really celebrate the same ones that we do.   Quick cool story from this week! We met this lady on the street last Saturday and she set up with us, and guess what her name was? Heidi! Yeah it's super weird teaching someone with my same name, but it's okay because she's super awesome and bubbly and fun. We met with her and she is totally interested in learning more.
