Chapter 57: 團結就是力量 (Unity is Strength)
This week was so full of crazy events!!!
Biggest thing that happened, we got famous!! Background story, 2 weeks ago our district went to Taipei 101 to go shopping (because why would you go anywhere else but the nicest place to shop in Taiwan). Anyways, we were heading to go home when an Elder heard a blind woman ask for help, so we stopped and helped her to find the front of Taipei 101, took a picture of her, and then took a picture with her. Just doing what you do. Always looking for opportunities to help others.
Anyways, on Friday we wake up to several messages that say we are on YouTube haha. Turns out the girl who was blind was pretending, and her YouTube friends were doing a social experiment and filming her! So now we're all over YouTube and members and missionaries all over Taiwan know haha. I've gotten messages from members in all my areas and it got shared on a Taiwanese News company's Facebook page. As of last night their video had over 350,000 views and we've been told people watched the video in their Sunday school classes at church on Sunday hahahaha. Moral of the story is, always find ways to serve people, because you never know who is watching and possibly filming you! I'm so grateful that, even though it was pday, we were still able to represent Jesus Christ! A lot of comments on the video have been good things about the church. We were so blessed as a district to have this opportunity to put the missionaries and the church in a good light in Taiwan!
Another crazy thing that happened is that transfers are coming a few days early because of our new mission president! Because of that we got our transfer calls today instead of Wednesday like we normally do. I found out that I'm training! And another elder in my district is too! And the other elder's area is getting closed because our mission is losing a lot of missionaries and there just aren't enough elders. So it's just going to be me and Elder Spencer and our trainees in Muzha haha. It will be so fun! I'm so excited for the next two transfers!
Hope you all have a great week and remember to always be representing Jesus Christ wherever you go!
Love,

Pics!
1. It rained SO HARD one day. I've never seen it rain that hard, and we were biking to an appointment! I've literally never been that soaking wet from rain before haha.
2. Lol our district is legendary
3. We saw the dragon boat races last week! Not going to lie, I thought it was going to be the coolest thing ever because everyone was so excited about here, but they actually weren't that exciting haha. It was just like watching rowing competitions but the boats were shaped like dragons lol.
4. You're not a real missionary until you discover your white handbook is covered in mold on the inside cover #taiwanlife
5. I found 100 kuai (about $3) on the street and it was the greatest find ever
6. Another rain pic
7. Cute Sunday selfie
8. This is a good story. We went to go visit a less active member, and she lives INCREDIBLY far away. We biked for 45 minutes and then got to the bottom of this, I kid you not, mountain. And she lived on the top of the mountain!! It was 5 kilometers completely uphill. We biked for about 3 of them, but then walked the rest of the way. When we got there, exhausted and SO SWEATY (it was real bad) we didn't have a key to use their elevator, so we walked up 8 flights of stairs to get to her apartment haha. Her dad was there and yelled at us and said he didn't want us ever to come back, but it's okay! We were led by the Spirit and we needed to be there
9. Party hat party
10. Sometimes English planning is hard haha
11. Me helping my blindnotblind friend ShuTing out
