Chapters 71 and 72: Cockroach Killing Queens AND We Are the Dancing Queens
This week was another great week down here in 臺東. We had a lot of super fun and also very interesting experiences.
One thing that was super awesome this week was our friend texted us a scripture!! We had sent her a scripture earlier in the day and then when we were in a meeting, she texted us back a scripture in 2 Nephi 28:15!! At first we were just really excited to receive a scripture from her, that we didn't look and see what scripture she sent us. We didn't really look at it for about 5 minutes, because it's in Chinese characters and Chinese characters are sometimes hard to read and I didn't want to take the effort to figure what they said haha lol. Then we looked up what the scripture said and it was very interesting.15 O the wise, and the learned, and the rich, that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts, and all those who preach false doctrines, and all those who commit whoredoms, and pervert the right way of the Lord, wo, wo, wo be unto them, saith the Lord God Almighty, for they shall be thrust down to hell.
We totally died laughing. It was so funny we don't know how she came upon that scripture or why she really liked it but I mean I guess it's pretty good so...
Another fun thing we did this week is we visited our old grandma friend three times. She lives very far away and we have to bike for about an hour actually to get to her house. I'm getting some very very weird tan lines and they just keep getting worse. Rip.
On Saturday we had to bike a lot haha we biked about 17 miles. And we were very very tired but it was a very good day! We set a baptismal date with our friend and taught our old grandma friend about fasting.
One of the best things that happened this week was we got our shower head and toilet seats fixed!!! Our shower head was moldy and used to explode water, it wasn't the most pleasant experience haha. And both of our toilet seats weren't attached to our toilets, so we had to be really careful when we were going to the bathroom lol. But we were able to call a fixer person and he came over and brought a new shower head and two new toilet seats, it was so fantastic and I've never been happier in this apartment. Another fun thing about our apartment is that every night when we come home, me and my companion get out our cockroach killing spray and have a cockroach frenzy. As of October 2nd, 2018 we have killed a total of 64 cockroaches in our apartment. More updates coming weekly.
I heard General Conference was amazing, I am so excited to watch it this weekend it is going to be legendary!

This week was another great week!! We saw so many miracles and had a great time!
We taught our friend 美津 MeiJin about the word of wisdom. She drinks coffee everyday, but she didn't drink any yesterday and we called her this morning and she said she wouldn't drink any today! She's so great, love her!!
This week we started planning our Halloween party and it's going to be soooo lit! We got permission from our mission president to dance the Thriller at the party with all the friends and members who come, so we are so excited about that haha.
One of our friends TingXuan set a baptismal date this week!! She's so great and she's the one who sent us the funny scripture last week lol. We are so excited for her!!
Something Sister MacCabe and I have started doing is dancing for our Taiwanese roommates (We live with another companionship of sisters who are both Taiwanese) every night. We find some random song and then make up a dance to it and perform it. But it's to like random Christmas songs or hymns. I think they like it, but I also think they think we are super weird haha. Love them.
We also got to watch conference this last weekend! It was so amazing and I'm so grateful for living prophets and that the heavens are open and we can receive revelation.

1. Biking back from our friend MeJin's! She lives 13 kilometers away (about an hour bike ride). We are visiting her everyday this week to help her prepare for her baptism so pls pray for us that we won't die this week and also that MeiJin will progress towards baptism!
