Chapter 18; I learned the Chinese word for spider!
Nihao!! Hope all is well where it is Fall temperatures. It is still super hot here. Yesterday it was 36 degrees Celsius, which is like 97 degrees Fahrenheit. So it is so weird to see pictures of people wearing long-sleeves and coats. If I even think about that here I start to sweat because it is so hot. Also humid. But Taiwan is just so wonderful and great the heat is totally worth it!! So this week I learned what the word for spider is in Chinese because I saw one of the biggest spiders I've ever seen. And it's not even comparatively that big because there are spiders here that have bodies as big as dinner plates (thank goodness that I have yet to see one of those). So Sister Kwan and I were walking up the stairs to visit our cute old lady investigator (like she's literally the cutest ever. Also she's so funny. We love her so very much).
