Sister Larson in Taipei

大家好! Wow it's been so long, like 4 days? Lol @templeweek So from Wednesday to today, not a lot of things have happened. Last week was pretty crazy though, we spent 3.5 days in Taibei, and therefore spent a total of 12 hours 左右 of travel time going to and from Taibei, because it takes us like 2 hours one way haha #yilanlife #eastcoastlife  But in Taibei we had a super great training on how to make our English classes better, and so far we already have at least 15 children signed up to come to our English class on Wednesday, so stay tuned for how Sister Elliott and I try to control 15+ Taiwanese children hahaha.  Quick miracle story from this week! Sister Elliott and I were out knocking (like you do) and we were just really trying to follow the Spirit. So there was this guy outside his house and we just yell over to him "Hello!" and he responded and started to talk to us! 大家好! Hello! This week was wonderful! I'm emailing a little late in the week because we are going to the temple today and so our pday changed to Wednesday #powerweek We had some great things happen this last week! We were able to go to the "Chatting Corner" at National Yilan University. It's where we go and talk to college students in English for an hour and a half! It's like literally one of the most fun things in the world. Just talking to people my age about life (in English, nonetheless, #blessed)(don't get me wrong, I love the Chinese language and I am so blessed to be able to learn and speak it, but sometimes, I miss communicating in English haha), it is SO fun! And then we invite them to English class so they can keep learning English and have an opportunity to hear the gospel! I actually don't think I've ever explained English class before. So every Wednesday night at every chapel in our mission from  7-8:30 , we teach a free English class. F...

大家，午安! This week was so great! Unfortunately Sister Tu and I had to say goodbye, but I'm so excited to start a new chapter in my mission with my new companion Sister Elliott! She is so awesome! We get along super great, we are basically the same person, it is SO much fun! I'm so excited for this next transfer!  This week we got to go back and meet with the two boys we found last week (their Ama was in the hospital) and we shared with them the Restoration! The older brother was moved to tears but the younger brother was a little bored. We had brought him a children's Book of Mormon (the one with the pictures in it) and I read him the first chapter from it about Joseph Smith. 2 miracles occurred. The first one was that the he understood the story and wanted to keep reading more and more and just wanted to learn all he could from the book. Hello! This week was a great week! Every single day we seemed to see a super cool miracle! Monday: We had planned to go visit two less active members, but then only had time for one. So we picked the one we wanted to go to and left to go find her. We got to her house and found that she wasn't there and her parents don't know when she is returning from Taibei and the parents said they have no interest. As we were leaving to go knock doors around their house, this little 8 year old boy just shows up and starts talking to us. Then we go and meet his older brother, give him a Book of Mormon, and set up a time to meet with the both of them and their grandmother! It was so cool! But wait there's more. We still had time to knock on one door, so we picked the door across from their house and knocked. When they saw us, they were just like, come on in! It was the weirdest thing. That has never happened to me before. Turns out the mom of the family's mom is a super active ...
