Chapter 61: Stuffing our lives with service

大家好!  Another great week is in the books. Here are a few highlights: Yesterday we rode our bikes to a place called Shenkeng 深坑! It's a place we frequent because we have a few investigators there. We went so we could meet up with one, a family with a thirteen year old daughter who is the only one receptive to our message! After we made the 30 minute bike ride over the mom came to the door and told us 不方便!Which means inconvenient because their daughter was asleep! But let me tell you all a little miracle. Their home was filled with stacks of little booklet things and envelopes. She told us it was inconvenient because the daughter we came to teach was asleep and that there was no room in the house because of all the stuff. But guess what we did... we offered... SERVICE!!! So awesome! For that next hour we literally helped stuff envelopes for this family! And it was probably the most fun service I've ever done. 大家好!!  This week was another great one! We did a lot of fun and exciting things! The first great thing we did was we got to meet our new president! President Peterson is awesome! I'm so excited to have him in our mission, we're going to do a lot of great things! Another crazy thing that happened this week is I got my (as we missionaries like to call it) death letter! December 15, almost 19 months after I left haha. So mark that day on your calendars, it's going to be legendary. Last Saturday we put on a really fun ward activity! Because it was the 4th of July (It was just another normal day here, except for the fact that I wore a red dress #'merica) We decided to have a 4th of July themed activity! We really wanted to eat American food, but they don't really have that here so the closes...

She's from Utah and she visa waited in LA for one transfer. We are already great friends, and I can tell this is going to be a LEGENDARY next 3 months. We've set lots of awesome goals and have lots of awesome plans to help lots of awesome people get baptized! Speaking of baptism, Apple is so close! She has progressed so much in the last several weeks, and she has her baptismal interview scheduled! She is so awesome and so prepared and so ready! She loves praying and coming to church and listening to the scriptures we send to her. We are so excited for her to be baptized!  This last week was also pretty crazy, to say the least. Transfer day was Tuesday morning, but the trainees didn't get here until Thursday, so I had member companions from Tuesday morning to Wednesday night! Except f...
